You can advertise on any of the pages on the St. Céré
website, using banners (see top of page) or buttons (see right of
page). The cost is governed by the number of pages on which you
want your ad to appear. Naturally, how long you want your ad to
run has a bearing on cost.
Banners and buttons can be used either to direct the visitor
when it is clicked, to your own website, to a sponsored
page on this website or to a dedicated display advertisement
of your own, which will appear in a new window. (See New Window
Display Advertising, below)
Remember, because there is no deadline to get your ad in by, like
printed media, you can have your ad appear any time you like...
we can pretty much guarantee your ad will be published within 24hrs
of receipt and payment, pending design approval if we make your
banner or button.
Similarly, if you would like to interrupt your campaign temporarily,
you can do so immediately, reinstating it for a small admin fee
of just €5. This is particularly useful if, for instance, you
are advertising a product that is temporarily out of stock, your
own website is down, or your gite/bed and breakfast is fully booked!
Naturally, you do not pay for the time that your ads are down.
As there is only one banner slot per page (at the top), it is not
possible to book a solus position - Display Advertising Banner spaces
have to be shared. Banner Ads are served automatically in turn,
as the page loads. Therefore your ad is viewable in turn every time
that page is opened. If you share the slot with one other advertiser,
then your ad will be viewed every second time that page is opened.
Shared with three others, you ad will appear every third time that
page is opened etc. Maximum of 5 advertisers sharing a banner slot.
Button ads are static on the page and visible at all times, positioned
on the right hand side of the page, one under the other. New advertisers
joining a page will be placed in the bottom position, rising up
the page as the other Button ads time-expire. Up to five Button
ads like the one on the right, can appear on each page.
