A great deal of press comment accompanies any mention of Internet
copyright infringement litigation.
"Internet Pirates Jailed" headlines scream, as
yet another file sharing website, or 14 year old from Wisconsin,
is targeted by the big battalions of American media lawyers, on
behalf of publishing giants such as Columbia. But is sharing a well
loved music track or DVD that you have bought, with others, by making
them available for free download through peer to peer websites such
as"Pirate Bay",
really stealing?
-
Whatever your sentiments, the prospect of being able to get free
entertainment with a few clicks of the mouse button, will mean the
the argument will reign for as long as media publishers make us
pay vastly inflated prices for their product. And as computers emerge
from "home offices" or cupboards under the stairs, into
the living room as part of your home's entertainment system, then
you can rest assured that free Internet delivered entertainment,
including TV, film and music, is un-stoppable So join in, why not.
Not that I am urging you to expose yourself to possible law suits.
Far from it. Because you can get so much stuff for free - legally!
So play it safe by all means, but help your self... billions of
people do, every day.

This is a new music website and should mean you never have
to make yet another cup of tea whilst you download music tracks
to add to your iTunes or QuickTime player. Because on Spotify,
you just search for your favourite artistes/tracks, create
a playlist and hey presto - listen away.... instantly. Your
PC becomes a juke box. From Beethoven through to Britney and
beyond. It's brilliant. And absolutely FREE. No question about
illegality, either, so your conscience can remain clear. And
you can go on to actually buy the music if you like...
yeah, right!
The service is so new, it is still a BETA version, and under
test. Which is why you might have to wait in-line to be accepted
to download the player (which only takes a minute). Just register
and they will e-mail a special link in a few days. Enjoy
